The centre is currently staffed by a Director, who is a distinguished Professor of Linguistics with over 35 years of experience, at the University Level, in Yorùbá linguistics, language pedagogy, language material development, curriculum development, applied Yorùbá and language programme administration; a Senior Administrative Officer, a Secretary and a Clerical Officer who are accountable to the Director and are responsible for the centre’s general language programme administration and coordination as well as other duties relevant to the needs of the centre’s programmes; Language Instructors and Adjunct Lecturers who are trained either at the University of Ibadan, University of Wisconsin, Madison or NALRC in Madison, U.S.A. to teach Yorùbá as a foreign/second language.
